With its judgement dated 12th May 1998 - 312 O 85/89 – “liability for links” the Regional Court of Hamburg ruled that the inclusion of links on an Internet website may trigger liability for such linked sites. Such liability can only be avoided by expressly rejecting the contents of linked sites.
